VISIA SKIN ANALYSIS
Objective visual analysis of your skin
Prior to initiating any skin care plan, the VISIA Complexion Analysis System is used to visualize even the smallest amounts of skin damage and help to establish a personalized plan for rejuvenation. The VISIA Complexion Analysis System displays your face on a computer screen in both normal and ultraviolet (UV) light modes, showing surface and subsurface skin imperfections that might not be visible to the naked eye. The Complexion Analysis feature measures wrinkles, evenness, pores and sun damage, visualizing areas in need of improvement and giving you a comparison of your skin relative to others of the same sex, age and ethnicity. Your analysis results are stored in the system for comparison in the future. As you progress in your treatment plan, VISIA Analysis is repeated so that you can have an objective measurement of your improvement.
Intense pulsed Light (IPL™)
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL™) technology is a treatment breakthrough that can correct a variety of benign skin conditions, such as:
- Age Spots
- Sun Damage and Signs of Photo-Aging
- Birthmarks
- Mottled Pigmentation
- Veins and Capillaries
- Redness and Rosacea
- Acne
IPL™ offers a safe, non-invasive solution that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type, providing superior cosmetic results and outstanding satisfaction through a process called photorejuvenation. Photorejuvenation using IPL™ targets skin areas that contain excessive abnormal amounts of red and brown pigment in the skin, treating these areas without disruption of the skin's surface, hence no "down time".
How is photorejuvenation performed?
Because the treatment light is very bright, something like a camera flash going off, you may be given dark glasses to protect your eyes. A cold gel will be applied to the skin to cool the skin surface. The smooth glass crystal of the IPL handpiece is gently applied to your skin and pulses of light are applied. You will experience a mild feeling of warmth or a flash of heat with each impulse. This is very tolerable and no anesthetic is required. Each treatment takes about twenty to thirty minutes. Usually a series of 4 to 6 sessions is required and provides excellent long-term results, minimal adverse effects and high satisfaction.
Photodynamic TX
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a new and exciting procedure that was initially developed to treat pre-cancerous skin lesions. Over time and after several years of experience, it has been found to significantly improve the pigment and textural changes that are found in sun damaged skin. Additionally for patients with cystic acne, just a few treatments can give results similar to a prolonged course of antibiotics or Accutane, without the concern of medication side effects associated with those treatments.
How does Photodynamic Therapy work?
Amino Levulinic Acid (ALA) is a light reactive substance that is produced in small amounts naturally by the skin. When applied topically in a solution, it is absorbed selectively by abnormal pre-cancerous and cancerous cells in the skin, as well as by certain other normal skin structures, such as the oil glands and hair follicles. Once absorbed by these tissues, a medical light source can be used to activate the ALA. The result is photochemical reaction that generates a toxic oxygen product that damages only the ALA containing cells without harming the adjacent tissue. The skin’s natural repair process then clears and replaces any damaged cells, leading to more vital healthier skin.
What conditions can be treated with Photodynamic Treatment?
Photodynamic Therapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including age spots, broken capillaries, sun damage, mottled pigmentation, redness from rosacea, skin texture changes, fine wrinkles, enlarged oil glands and pores, acne (including cystic acne), and pre-cancerous actinic keratoses.

BOTOX®
You laugh. You frown. You concentrate. And over time, those expressions leave their mark upon your face. Until today, there wasn't a lot you could do about it. But today there's BOTOX® Cosmetic. A simple, non-surgical procedure that can dramatically reduce even your toughest wrinkle within days. One ten-minute treatment, a few tiny injections, relaxes the muscles between your brows that cause lines to form. And keeps them relaxed up to four months.
Restylane
Approved by the FDA, Restylane is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane is able to perform for many months in your skin. The most common areas for a Restylane treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). When used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane will add shape and volume to the area. Restylane is able to create volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out.
